Dave didn't have any classes last week, so we went on a road trip to San Diego. A highlight: We went to Castillo National Monument on Point Loma, where we had a fantastic view of San Diego Bay and the surrounding area. It was absolutely gorgeous, and we were pretty pumped to use our National Parks Pass again.
As we drove down the coast to see the tidepools at Point Loma, Dave received this text: "Welcome to Mexico: To call US dial 0-1-area code-number." Does this mean the government sold off our national parks to Mexico?

Tristan does volunteer work at Pt. Loma sometimes, and he always gets that random text message! Clearly Verizon is confused about San Diego geography.
