Changes
You might remember that in my past life in Provo, I was tormented by an ice cream truck. The constant visits continued for over a year after that post was written, yea, even until the day we moved out. I live in a new apartment complex now. A new town. Even a new state. But some things never change:
Such as my ability to take furtive pictures of ice cream trucks from afar. Yep, there's a new ice cream truck in our lives now. Luckily this one only visits once a day and has quite the repertoire of tunes. I do like that it looks the same as our old one, though, right down to the big Superman on the side. There's only one big difference:
Bars on the windows. Did I mention I live near D.C.?

I feel like an all star. I'm never the first to comment on your blog. I do hope you're still avoiding the ice cream truck. I'm not gonna like, they horrify me. Oh, and you're funny.
Sarah, if a "yea" is needed in your blog post, it must be a really big deal. Good luck with that. I remember my ice cream man looking not so scary, but the ice cream man here looks the same way and I'll be darned if a guy who sometimes comes to church is an ice cream man and I'm pretty sure he was the one who always needed a member of the high priests quorum with him at all times in the building because he had issues with molestation, etc. But this is all hearsay and me connecting the dots, so maybe not. Never mind.
This cracks me up. You must purchase a dreamcicle immediately. Also, Madeline is darling!
I like ice cream.
But why are you living near D.C.? Did I miss a post wherein you explained that you would not be living in Provo during Dave's last year of law school and his Master's? Is he doing an externship? I'm from Vienna, Virginia. Are you close to there are are you in Maryland?
bars might be on the window, but that van isn't new enough to even have a car alarm. love ya have fun in d.c. and the ice cream.
Yes, hilarious, but completely characteristic of living in that area, right? Our church building had bars. Everything back there does.
Oh, and speaking of ice cream trucks, haven't seen one in forever until we came back to Utah. there is one that frequents my parent's neighborhood every night!!! it's a bit creepy.
The desperate things people might do for ice cream if not for the bars . . .
This is hilarious. When we heard the ice cream truck (the same one you're referring to) at midnight on Christmas Eve, we decided it was time to call the cops. Definitely seemed a bit fishy...
Great to hear from you. I can't believe how big Madeline is!
Take care.
