The bar is over!

One of my favorite things about living in D.C. last fall was that we always went somewhere fun as a family on Saturdays. Dave wasn't in school and we really had very few obligations or responsibilities during our time there, so we were able to make Saturday a family day without getting behind on all of the other things that typically stack up for the weekend.

Now that Dave is done with school and no longer a slave to studying for the bar (hallelujah!), our Saturdays are more free again. Last Saturday we went to a pseudo petting zoo that's nearby and had so much fun.

Love the tiny baby feet dangling down in that picture.

Violet was pretty unfazed by the whole experience, but Madeline loved every minute of it. My favorite moment was when she stuck some grass through the fence and said, "Here, goat, Manny has some grass for you. Eat my grass, goat." I wish you could hear her little voice saying that. She was so sweet about it that it's hard to believe the goat could resist.

I love that you figured out how to use the moby wrap. Was it hard? And happy being done with schooling for real!

I used the moby when Madeline was a baby too. It's tricky the first two or three times you do it and then it's super easy. It's my favorite of all the wraps and slings I have, and my babies seem to like it the best too.

Danny would eat her grass.

I love family outing days! The little feet are cute! I was wondering what that big green thing on your chest was (her hat) until I noticed the feet. I just woke up. I'm still groggy.

Bring Manny to me so I can hear her say it.
