Hi. It's me again. I don't know where the past month has gone. I've had a lot of things to say here and there, but I end up saying none of them for lack of time or energy. I don't thrive when there is chaos around me, and I'm oh-so-slowly working on getting rid of that chaos while still doing regular house upkeep and playing with the girls. (Most of you know how that goes.)
And oh, are those girls cute. Violet will be one next Monday and I'm kind of freaking out about it. I really don't know what happened to her first year; I really believe that it went faster than Madeline's. She doesn't walk yet, but she loves to cruise around furniture and other objects and she really loves to climb. And her smile could still melt the coldest heart.
And Madeline, by the way, is crazier and funnier by the day. How is that possible? One example. The other night we were driving home from D.C. It was late and we knew Madeline was soooo tired, but she just wouldn't stop talking and talking and talking. Finally I told her it was time to stop talking and close her eyes so she could fall asleep. She protested, "But I just have so many questions in my body!" I told her she could ask three more questions, so she thought carefully and asked her three questions. She tried to sneak in an extra but I told her she'd already done her three. I seriously looked back thirty seconds later and she was fast asleep. Such a tired girl; just had to stop talking long enough to realize it.
This day at the park was super fun even though it was terribly terribly hot. On the really hot and humid days we all wish that we could live in onesies like Violet. Two naps a day AND a onesie? She's really got the life.

Your little girlies are so cute. Napping and onesies both sound pretty great. :)
Violet kills me with cuteness and that story about Madeline having so many questions in her body is my fave. I love your girls! And I love you! And I like that park.
The girls are adorable. You don't want to see me in a onsie no matter HOW hot I am.
What cuties! The question story is hilarious.
Yes, the first year goes by faster with each child. Maybe by child 10 they are just born a toddler? Wait, that was child 3 for me, but anyway . . . You can get a 90's bodysuit. Or just wear your bikini like a lot of girls at sea world.
